My O2 – iPhone App

The launch of the My O2 iPhone app for the UK mobile network operator was the culmination of 14 month’s collaboration between O2 and Jigsaw to define the company’s app strategy. My O2 launched on the App Store in September 2009 and became the No. 1 free app within three days.
It offers O2 Pay and Go and Pay Monthly iPhone customers  a simple dashboard on which they can see all their account details, including billing statements broken down by voice minutes, SMS and data usage, and for Pay Monthly customers, the date when their next payment is due. The app also flags up any O2 ‘Bolt Ons’ that may benefit the user or save them money, based on their current usage pattern.
